Bio
Singer-songwriter l Composer l Musician l Performer l Music Teacher
Cornie Kok is a singer, composer, guitarist and music teacher. Cornie was born 9th August 1997, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree program in Contemporary Voice at UCSI University. In 2018, Cornie won the "Champion" and "Most Popular Award" at The Musicpreneur 中国原创音乐大赛.
She formed a fusion progressive rock band called Cyanus. Cornie is the main vocalist and composer of the band. On the 30th June 2018, Cyanus band became the "Grand Prize Winner" of Yayasan Arts Festival's Satellite Show, Battle of the Bands and also the "Grand Prize Winner" of Borneo Jazz Talent Search in 2019.
Cornie believe that exploring music from other cultures is essential and valuable because of the bridges of understanding it creates among peoples and become of the expanding world of sound that enriches our musical lives. In 2015, Cornie had joined Dithyrambic Singers as a choral singer, participated in several collaboration performances with Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra(MPO) and National Symphony Orchestra(NSO). She also participated choral competitions in Taiwan, China, Bali, Vietnam, Croatia and Prague. In 2019, she has been invited to be part of the ASEAN Youth Choir. The ASEAN Youth Choir will be performing pieces in conjunction with SEAMEX 2019 at Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

🌟21岁。
🌟唯一一个创作人入围3首歌曲。
🌟音乐大学毕业，目前在马来西亚一家录音室实习中
她来自不富裕的家庭，家人从小就反对她学音乐。小时候特别羡慕表弟能学钢琴，自己存了一些钱，还跟妈妈借了钱买了人生的第一把吉他，成功瞒过爸爸一阵子。老师偶然安排的表演，让父母看见了她的音乐才华。父母不再反对，还让她学了小提琴。在选择大学科系的时候，因为家境关系，本来打算放弃音乐，但是父亲却带着她去报读了音乐大学。当初最反对她读音乐的人，变成了最鼓励她的人。为了减轻家庭负担，她在大学也成功申请到了奖学金。日后除了当音乐制作人，她还想要当一名老师。因为她觉得音乐是应该被传承的。

21岁的郭彩凤是本次晋级选手中唯一一位入围3首歌曲的创作人，她从小不顾家庭的反对，毅然通过自己的努力和实力证明她对音乐的坚持与热爱。当初极力反对她的爸爸，如今变成了她音乐道路的护航人。她用对音乐的炙热与钻研，把自己活成了她想要的模样！
